Choose from a number of rewarding roles in Patient Care:

Initial Visit Team Volunteers

Make first contact with families to discuss volunteer services and support.

Friendly Visitors

Assigned to one patient/primary caregiver as an emotional support as well as assisting in keeping the household functioning.

Transportation Volunteers

Drive patients to/from medical appointments.

Respite Volunteers

Sit with patients so that primary caregivers can rest, go to appointments or meet with friends.

Shopping/Errand Volunteers

Grocery shop, pick up RX etc. weekly.

Bereavement Volunteers

After an additional 12 hours training with the Bereavement Coordinator, work with families pre and post death.

Hospital Volunteers

Provide weekday visits to hospitalized general inpatient hospice patients/families.
